Westlife’s brand new single is finally here and fans are going wild

Westlife fans rejoice!

Wonderful news for Westlife fans today, as the beloved Irish band have released their brand new single, Starlight. The track comes off their upcoming album, Wild Dreams, and it's a certified banger. You can listen to it right here. The band gave fans a snippet of what to expect from their next era of music by sharing a lyric video of the song on YouTube this morning. Taking to Twitter, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Marcus Feehily and Kian Egan shared their excitement as they released their single. https://twitter.com/westlifemusic/status/1448544808876789762 The band's official account wrote: "Our new single Starlight is out now! We hope you love it, official video coming soon..." While Starlight's only been out for a couple of hours, in true Westlife fashion, the track is already climbing the charts. Unsurprisingly, the track raced into the top spot on the Irish charts, in front of Elton John and Dua Lipa, Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, The Wanted and Dermot Kennedy. Meanwhile, in the UK, Starlight climbed to the third spot on iTunes chart ahead of Little Mix, The Wanted and Coldplay.

The track is also climbing up the ranks in Sweden, Indonesia and South Africa. Yesterday, Westlife gave an update on their new album, which will be released next month. They tweeted: "The new album Wild Dreams out 26th November. "Signed versions live on our store now, deluxe editions include 4x special versions of our biggest hits live from Ulster Hall! Limited copies, get them while you can." Fans have long been calling out for new music from the Sligo group, and earlier this year those calls were answered as the group announced that new music and a massive tour were on the way. Cork fans dying to see the band live are in luck, as tickets for two upcoming gigs are already on sale over on Ticketmaster.
