You may have heard of Beyoncé, you know, Queen of the Music World, general Wonder Woman.
Well, Queen Bey wasn't always Queen Bey, a point that she was quick to point out in one of the videos describing how she recorded her new album which has taken the world by storm.
Bey and her friends entered a talent competition called Star Search, but even though they were clearly the winners, they lost out to a metal band that no one has really heard of since.
Apparently, the whole experience taught young Bey a lesson, no matter how hard you work, you are going to lose out sometimes and there's always a reason for that. Evidently, she went on to better things.
Here's the video where she discusses the talent competition.
