Music mogul Simon Cowell has said this week that he expects TV talent show The Voice to go the distance.
He stated that even though The Voice may not have produced worldwide music stars like The X Factor - which boasts One Direction, Olly Murs and Leona Lewis (to name but a few) as past contestants - he still believes that The Voice can go the distance.
Unsurprisingly, he also named two of his own shows as ones that "will probably last".
“My gut feeling is there are now four talent shows that will probably last for quite a long time and that’s The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Strictly and The Voice,” he said.
“I think that’s enough. Any more than that will be a problem."
