All you need to know if you’re going to Beyond The Pale this weekend

Beyond The Pale festival takes place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (June 10 - 12) at Glendalough Estate in Wicklow. The new summer festival features three days of music, art, food, bars and other cultural events. Here's what you need to know if you're making the trip to Glendalough. How to get there Beyond the Pale is on at Glendalough estate, located around 45 minutes from south Dublin. Travellers can search Glendalough House on Google Maps to find the venue and the nearest towns are Annamoe and Roundwood. Marathon coaches be providing a bus service running from Custom House Quay in Dublin city centre beginning Friday at 10.30am with other services running at 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 6pm. Buses will return on Sunday night at 11pm and Monday at 12.30pm in the afternoon. Return tickets are €36 and are available to buy from the Beyond The Pale website. Parking There is parking available onsite with about a 10-minute walk to the campsite. There is a charge of €20 per car. Opening time The festival site opens at 12pm on Friday, with music starting in the main arena at 4pm. The campsite will close at 12pm on Monday, 13 June. What acts are performing? Food and alcohol There will be an array of food available as well as bars onsite at the event. Campers can bring 1 case of beer (24 Cans) or 2 bottles of wine, 1 x Litre of Spirits. Glass bottles and mirrors are not allowed and organisers have said there will be strict checks at the entrance to ensure these are being adhered to.
