Little Mix are reportedly all planning to go solo

According to a source, plans are already in motion.

It's been a pretty eventful week for Little Mix. After former member Jesy Nelson released her debut solo music video Bad Boyz last week, many fans accused her of Blackfishing and cultural appropriation. Amid this backlash, the three current members of Little Mix unfollowed Jesy on Instagram, which led many to believe that the group are not on good terms with Nelson. To make matters more complicated, Nicki Minaj hit out at Leigh-Anne Pinnock during an Instagram live earlier this week. Now, rumour has it that Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards are all planning their solo careers once their next tour finishes up. According to speculation, the group have put plans in place to go solo, though they hope to keep the group together. A source close to the group told The Sun: "They've been pretty open with each other about it. Some of them have already done management deals." They continued: "Leigh-Anne has signed up with Dua Lipa's manager, Jade is cutting her teeth as a songwriter and presenter while Perrie is working on other things too. They still get on great despite everything which has happened with Jesy. But her departure put the cat amongst the pigeons. "They all know there will have to be a career beyond Little Mix so they've put things in place. The plan is to see out commitments, then turn to solo projects almost immediately." This year marks Little Mix's 10th year in music, after they formed during the eighth season of The X Factor. Earlier this summer, the group made history at the Brit Awards as they became the first female band to take home the accolade for Best British Band. Also this year, two thirds of Little Mix welcomed children, as Perrie and Leigh-Anne became first-time mothers.
