Leon Bridges Announces Date At Whelan’s In September

Soul star Leon Bridges has announced that he will play a gig at Whelan’s this September. Following an appearance on Later… With Jools Holland, Bridges will release debut album Coming Home on June 23^rd.. Produced by Austin Jenkins and Josh Block of White Denim, the album will feature Leon’s existing three tracks Better Man, Coming Home and Lisa Sawyer. Bridges first gained fan and critic popularity in the U.S. with his single Coming Home, which has been featured on Spotify’s Global, US and UK Viral Charts for over five consecutive weeks. Bridges, a trained choreographer and dancer, is celebrated for his strong live presence and will also play an Irish date at this year’s Longitude Festival. Tickets for Leon Bridges live at Whelan’s on September 25th are priced at €21 including booking fee and go on sale this Friday at 9am from Ticketmaster.
