She revealed that she had taken ill on tour last year and that’s when she decided to re-evaluate things.
“I had to take a little bit of a backseat from singing because I got really really ill just before and just after The X Factor tour,” she said.
“Well, actually, I got ill while I was on the show but it wasn’t picked up on."
“You can still hear the croakiness in my voice now – especially in the mornings.
“I panicked at the time, but do you know what? I think it was a blessing in disguise. I still love singing but I’ve found so many different avenues that I love doing instead, like presenting.”

The talented singer has also become a big hit on YouTube after kicking off her own channel recently.
