The last time Garth Brooks played a World Tour was way back in 1998. Some of us thought after his retirement in 2000 that we would never see Brooks grace a stage again.
Well, we have good news. The music superstar, who is the newest member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, is planning a World Tour for 2014.
The news was confirmed by Steve Wynn, the Las Vegas hotel developer, on Saturday. Brooks had just ended a three-year, 180 show run on Saturday at the Wynn in Las Vegas.

Brooks had promised in the past that he would not return to world tours until his three daughters had left high school; his youngest is due to graduate next year in May.
Garth is pretty popular here in Ireland and there will be many dressed in their check shirts and stetsons ready for his return if he chooses to come back here.
Just to belt this one out again...
