Would you like to grab the ultimate chance to showcase all those marvellous talents of yours after all?! And not JUST show them off, but also kick-start your music career, nab a cash prize of €1500 AND a slot at Indiependence 2018! Le Crunch are inviting you to enter their Apple of My Eye Song Contest to be in with the chance to win this phenomenal prize! Here’s how it works: Five finalists will get the chance to showcase their talent in front of a packed house at Whelan’s - a pretty spectacular start, that’s sure to offer plenty of exposure for you up-and-coming musicians! The winner will walk away with €1500 and that slot at Indiependence while four runners up will win €250! So no one goes home empty handed. The five finalists will have been chosen by a combination of panel judges AND a public vote. Judges will pick three finalists, while the other two will be chosen by public vote on the Her website. Judges include JOE’s Paddy McKenna, Barq’s Jess Kavanagh and singer Jack O’ Rourke.

To enter, all we ask is that you, the singers or bands, perform a cover of your favourite song and send it in to us. There are a number of ways to submit - you can send an email to [email protected] with your MP3 or MP4 file attached. You can include a link to your YouTube video in the body of the email showcasing what you do best too. Or you can post your video on Twitter with the hashtag #LeCrunchSongs.
