Actual Fergie and Will.i.am are making music together ‘just for fun’

She's been dropping some poetry lyrics all over his beats.

Will.i.am and Fergie have been recording some music together because the Duchess of York writes poetry so why not? The former Black Eyed Peas member said that he and Sarah Ferguson had a bit of a collab recently to create some sick beats. Unfortunately they probably won't be releasing any of it any time soon but hey, the idea of it is still fairly gas. Speaking to Lorraine today, Will.i.am said that he invited Fergie over to his to "drop some poetry lyricals over his beats (...) just for fun." He said:

"So, a long time ago she was like, 'you should come over to my house for tea.' She said, 'you know I write poetry,' I was like, 'you know what would be real cool, if you recited some of your poetry over some of my music.'" "I thought it would be fun as everybody knows me and Fergie but to have Fergie, the real Fergie, drop some poetry lyricals over my beats. She’s always been cool."

Incredible. He also added that there is a "special place" in his heart for the Duchess. Lovely. The other Fergie (the real Fergie, in our minds, tbh) must have an even more special place in her heart for Sarah because she even named her 2006 debut album, The Dutchess, after her. Big fan, clearly.
