It’s round two of auditions for this year’s X-Factor, and last night brought a mix of flame-throwers, lap-dancing, impersonators and some actual singing too.
If you were out last night, or just want to relive the madness, here’s our highlights from the Saturday night show…
First up was Jamie Benkert, who might *might* have enjoyed his look-alike comparison to presenter, singer and former X-Factor contestant Olly Murs
Following Jamie, we had a dose of double trouble fun in the form of best friends Flaxen. They were admittedly average, but great fun.
We did fully expect a casualty mid-routine though…

Thankfully, some serious talent came in the form of Simon Lynch. The 21-year old from the Isle of Man set himself the task of singing a Beyonce song. It was breathtaking #nailedit
We were treated to some chair dancing when alternative girl-band Alien took to the stage, performing Black Eyed Peas’ ‘Pump It’. Simon looked VERY happy to see the ladies, who we’re banking could make it through to the live shows
After first failing to impress with her Taylor Swift cover, it could have been the end for this next contestant. But it seemed to be Ladies’ night, with 27-year old Stephanie McCourt bringing a sensual cover of Summertime to the stage, bagging four ‘yes’ votes in the process…
That’s it – she did it. She got the @SimonCowell happy shock face #Xfactor pic.twitter.com/zmpP6J9xuQ — Her.ie (@Herdotie) September 5, 2015
Last, but DEFINITELY not least, was Bupsi Brown. We don’t want to ruin it for you, but she definitely takes a shine to Simon…
All that leather. All that lap-dancing… and her poor mammy in the audience…
It can’t be unseen ? And your mammy is in the audience ? #xfactoruk pic.twitter.com/GRkrvgp8JJ
