Big news for Misfits fans.
Those who enjoyed the original series on E4 might be delighted to hear that a remake has been given a pilot order by Freeform.
The supernatural drama told the story of a group of young offenders as they completed community service and developed supernatural powers after being hit by a storm.
Yes, that probably sounds ridiculous to those of you who didn’t watch it, but it was seriously good.
The remake has already began casting with Ashleigh LaThrop, Tre Hall, Allie MacDonald and Jake Cannavale already signed on for the pilot.

The original series aired back 2009 and ran for five seasons and grew a massive fan base over the season.
However, many of those fans are not so excited about the news of a remake, and are worried that the US version won’t live up to the original.
