Miranda Kerr acted as bridemaid for her brother's wedding at the weekend in Hunter Valley, Australia. Matty, her brother, invited 284 people to watch as he married his partner Jimmy. Miranda's father proudly walked him up the aisle and she stood by him as he said his vows. She wore a Self Portrait style white dress with a floral head piece and matching bouquet.

According to E!Online, Therese, Matty's mother, spoke to the media about the wedding prior to the occasion saying:

"Even though Australia with its archaic beliefs does not yet recognize same sex marriage, in our eyes, in the eyes of Matty and Jimmy's family and friends and by the law of the universe that overrides all, Matty and Jimmy are married and have started a new and beautiful life together. We don't need an Australian Government or a law to tell us what love is or isn't."
