Michael Healy-Rae was joined by some very special guests on Ireland AM

Definitely a weird combination.

It's not big news when a politician is on the telly, as most need to keep up appearances and let us know the country's economy and other affairs are still intact. Michael-Healy Rae appeared on TV3's Ireland AM this morning but it's his blossoming friendship with two unlikely subjects that has us interested. It wasn't Gerry Adams, not Enda Kenny, nor even Joan Burton ... It was, in fact, our best friends from when we were all toddlers. That's right - Michael Healy-Rae, one of the most-feared men and toughest politicians in Ireland is now best mates with none other than the Teletubbies. The Teletubbies were on the show to promote the launch of 3Kids on 3e but little did they know they would be so well received.
