At long last!
Eleven years after Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and co rocked our worlds in Mean Girls, the hit movie is set to get a “spiritual” sequel.
According to reports published in Deadline, New Line Cinema has tasked Horrible Bosses 2 writer and director Sean Anders with taking the helm of the vehicle.
Better yet, he’s set to reunite with Jennifer Aniston for the female-driven comedy.
Mean Mom “matches the spirit” of Mean Girls but will feature an adult cast instead of the teen leads of the original.
The plot sees a happily married mother of two move from small-town America to the suburbs, where competitive parenting is a practically a sport.
Like Mean Girls before it, Mean Moms will be based on self-help books written by Rosalind Wiseman.
