Maura Higgins opens up about relationship status amid Pete Wicks rumours

She's opened up about her love life

The 34-year-old has recently been linked with former TOWIE star Pete Wicks, but the pair are yet to confirm anything.

However, Maura let slip that she had been seeing someone prior to coming into the jungle.

Oti Mabuse asked the Longford native if she was single, to which she replied: “I am but I was seeing someone before I came in but I’m not in a relationship.”

When Rev Richard Coles asked whether the pair were exclusive, she said: “I dunno”.

“What are the rules?” Coles enquired.

“I don’t know the rules! I don’t know the rules,” Maura responded.

Maura also hinted that the public may know who she is involved with, but added that she thinks she has never been in love.

“Does it feel different this time?” Dean McCullough asked.

“It does, but then is it because we’ve known each other for a long time?” Maura answered.

 “You’d know if he was an a**hole or not, by now,” Coles said.

Maura concluded: “Yeah, he’s not an a**hole.”

Pete, who is currently starring in Strictly Come Dancing, shared a post to his story urging his followers to support Maura.

“I’ve been George of the Jungle but now its time to vote for Maura of the Jungle," he wrote.
