Matt from Lizzie McGuire is 27 now and we feel so old

Ahhh our childhood fave..

Nothing will ever beat the old Disney Channel original shows and I am not being biased, I have attempted watching their newer ones and it really just isn't the same. So, you can't blame us for feeling super nostalgic and absolutely shocked when we see our favourite childhood characters looking all grown up. Jake Thomas, who played Matt, Lizzie's younger brother in the hit show is an example of this. A picture of him today frightened the living daylights out of us as he is no longer a conniving little 11-year-old but now a handsome 27-year-old man. Often posting throwbacks to his "Lizzie days" on Instagram, we just can't get over how quickly time has gone by.

So yes, we feel like a Disney binge is well and truly necessary to have a good cry, think of the glory days and pray for a reprisal of at least one series. Imagine another season of Wizards of Waverly Place? I'd die of happiness.
