Marty Morrissey commenting on his low score on DWTS will break your heart

We still love you, Marty.

Marty Morrissey has described Dancing With The Stars as 'devastating' and a 'test of character' after he received the lowest points in the history of the show. His 8 point score was handed out the week before last and then on Sunday night he came back fighting to nearly double his score to 15 points. But, while he appeared to shake off his low score, it wasn't as easy as it looked. Marty has opened up about the post-show mood and said that it took him a few days to get over the disappointment. Speaking to The Sun, he said:

"I was kind of really devastated on ­Sunday night and Monday. But Ksenia kept saying to me on Monday, ‘Look it is over now, it’s gone’. I listened. By Monday afternoon, I was in a better place. Look, they have a job to do. I looked at the video of the cha cha and it wasn’t my best moment, let’s be honest. I knew I could do better."

With his dancing improving every week and the backing of the viewers at home, we've no doubt he will go from strength to strength.
