Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson announces engagement in magazine shoot

Congrats are in order.

Louise Thompson has revealed she is engaged to long-term boyfriend Ryan Libbey. Yes, the Made In Chelsea star shared the news as many celebrities choose to – on the front cover of a magazine and earn a tidy sum while they’re at it. Louise told OK! Magazine that Ryan got down on one knee while the pair were hiking in Los Angeles last week. Ryan snuck the ring through security at the airport in London without Louise noticing and hid it in his pocket all day before popping the question. Louise said the moment was so romantic she “cried for three days” afterwards.

“It’s the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life,” she said.

But it took some convincing to get Louise in the form for the hike.

“I was like, ‘I’m really tired – and we’ve got dinner plans.’ He convinced me to come, so I threw on one of his big tshirts and some cycling shorts.”

While taking a rest halfway up, Ryan pulled out the ring and asked her the big question.

“I said something like, ‘I’ve had the best birthday ever, but there’s one more birthday wish that I’d like. Will you marry me?’,” Ryan said of the moment.

The pair posed in all-white to share their big news and a first look at the huge sparkler.
