Love/Hate Star Cast As Lead In New Seth Rogan Series

She may be better known to some Irish fans as Darren’s girlfriend Rosie in hit TV series Love/Hate but it seems like it’s not just in Ireland where actress Ruth Negga has made a name for herself. According to reports, the actress has been causing quite a stir stateside of late, with a number of big names sitting up and taking notice. The talented Irish star has now reportedly bagged herself the lead role in a new ABC drama called Preacher which will be directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Reports have stated that she will be playing a character called Tulip. Speaking about the project, Rogen and Goldberg told Variety recently: “Preacher has been our favourite comic since it first came out. “Garth Ennis is one of our idols and it’s an incredible honor to be working on this."
