Love Island’s Shannon says she felt “bullied” at show’s reunion

“I’ve been crying and stuff all day, as I just feel like I’ve been completely humiliated in front of everyone.”

Love Island’s Shannon Singh, who was the first islander to leave the villa this year, has opened up about her experience at the reunion show on Sunday evening.

On her Twitch stream, Shannon shared that she wasn’t happy about how it was run.

She told her followers that she was in a “really weird headspace” after coming off the show.

She said: “I just feel like the show has completely mugged me off, if I’m completely honest. Last night I was really angry as I sat about for nine hours all day. They mic’ed me up, briefed me on questions and then completely disregarded me, which was fine.

“I just thought, after how they dumped me, I thought I’d get some better treatment. But yeah.”

She continued: “I’m really sad to be honest, I’ve been crying and stuff all day, as I just feel like I’ve been completely humiliated in front of everyone.”

Shannon then thanked her fans, and said that while she wasn’t happy with how it played out, she was happy to see everyone.

“That was the only reason I went, to be honest,” she said. “It was nice to see everyone again and meet the people I never got the chance to meet before”

The model added that she didn’t enjoy being singled out as the islander with the least amount of airtime.

She said: “Again, to humiliate me in front of everyone. I took it on the chin, because I made a joke of it anyway.

“I just thought it was really unnecessary to be honest. It was kind of bullying, a little bit.”

During her stream, however, Shannon did thank fans and her followers for the support they’ve shown her since coming out of the villa.
