Episode 12 is out now!
Ah, Michael.
We were rooting for you, mate.
If this year’s series of Love Island has taught us anything, it’s that Amber Gill is a force to be reckoned with and that we are glad we are not a male currently living with her in that villa because she would tear us a new one.
And we would absolutely have deserved it.
One person who would be getting a bollocking from Amber (if she knew what he was up to) is Michael.
Currently, the fireman is chilling out in the villa while the girls enjoying a bit of a break in Casa Amor. However, the addition of six new women has got Michael in a bit of a flurry.
So much so that he’s convinced himself that Joanna is better suited to him than Amber is and now he doesn’t know whether to share a bed with her or not.
Christ.
“If somebody comes in that’s genuinely better suited to me than Amber is, then it’s one of those things,” he tells the new girl during tonight’s episode.
Later on, he remains true to himself and admits that he is, indeed, getting to know Joanna.
“Joanna’s obviously a very attractive girl,” he says. “It wouldn’t hurt to get to know who Joanna is, but at the same time it doesn’t mean that my head’s turned.
“It just means that I’m getting to know Joanna to see if by all means she’s more me than Amber is.”
Well Michael, you might want to figure that out before you go jumping into bed with her.
Or giving her a hickey.
“Is it worth the potential headache of sharing a bed with Joanna if there’s nothing actually there,” he muses afterwards, “or if I don’t share a bed with Joanna and there is something there than am I just shooting myself in the foot?”
Honestly lad, who knows?
May as well just crack on, so.
“The new girls coming in has obviously come at a great time,” he admits in the Beach Hut.
“It’s helped me realise situations that I’ve overlooked with Amber, and it’s made me realise that I did go into a shell over the past week and I wasn’t really acting myself. Just acting a bit out of character.
“This has come at a good time to help me clear things up in my head.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
