We'll hold our hands up and say that we had our scepticism about Megan during the early stages of her time in the villa. OK, we flat out thought she was the villain of the show, but in our defence, they did lead us to believe just that. Yes, since the show has finished, we've heard more details about what really went on, including a five-day argument between Wes and Laura that we never even saw. Our point is that Megan unfairly received a huge amount of criticism during her time on the show and most cruelly for her appearance and previous career choices. We all know by now that prior to joining the reality show, Megan worked as a stripper and that she spent in the region of £25,000 on cosmetic surgery – these are all well-documented facts. But since leaving the villa, Megan has had to repeatedly defend these decisions after the court of public opinion deemed her unworthy of at the very least, understanding. Now, in her first magazine cover ever, Megan has revealed a stripped-back look and spoken in her most honest interview ever. The 24-year-old graces the front cover of Grazia this month and took part in a high fashion shoot to fill the glossy’s pages. Speaking of her former job as a stripper, Megan said:

“I did it for a year – I got in, I got out, I earned my money, I didn’t hurt anyone. “I don’t see why it’s so negative. Men enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, couples came in… everyone is happy!”

She also spoke about the conversation around her appearance and the cosmetic surgery she’s undergone.

“I worked so hard to get all the money I could and I feel like I can spend it any way I want. “If it makes me feel better I don’t know why that’s seen as a negative thing?”
