Love Island’s Eyal Booker has a theory about what caused Jordan Hames’ head to turn

“I’m not sure if it was a game play…”

Love Island 2018’s Eyal Booker has a theory about what caused Jordan Hames’ head to turn.

Tuesday night’s episode saw Jordan confess his feelings for India Reynolds to Curtis Pritchard – who, in turn, encouraged him to go and tell her how he felt before talking to his girlfriend, Anna Vakili.

Speaking to Her at the launch of essence’s #essencelipsaviours collection in Dublin, he weighed in on the “unexpected” moment that “nobody saw coming”.

He explained:

“I want to try and give Jordan the benefit of the doubt, but I can’t. I think he handled the situation terribly. It was brutal to watch.

“It’s a really difficult situation to be in. Everyone’s entitled for their mind to change, but I think how you handle a situation is key – and I don’t think he approached it in the best way.

“I think he should have spoken to Anna properly and not made out like he’d spoken to her when he didn’t, really.”

He added that he reckons Anna was “frustrated” when she called Jordan a game-player on Tuesday night’s episode – and that there may have been more to Jordan’s decision than there initially seemed to be.

Eyal continued:

“It’s difficult, he’s a game player – but also, is he a game player? Because if he was, he would have stayed with Anna.

“We’re so close to the end of the season, what could he possibly think he’s going to gain – bar potentially India – by ending his relationship with Anna the way that he did it.

“I’m not sure if it was a game play or an overwhelming move that he made because his emotions got the better of him and he’s stuck in the villa.”

Looking towards the end of the series, the model backed Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard or Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague to be taking home the £50,000 prize.

Although if he had been single and taking part in this year’s series, Eyal said there was one person in particular that he would have coupled up with.

“It would probably be Maura. I like the fact that she’s confident and she’s a strong woman,” he said.

And while he may not have found love in the Love Island villa last year, it turns out that the show brought him and his girlfriend, Delilah Belle Hamlin, together.

Well, sort of.

Eyal explained:

“My girlfriend has seen up to the point that I left [last year]. That’s kind of how we met, but not met.

“Her sister was watching the show and was like, ‘You should watch this show, there’s a guy on there that I think you would be into.’

“She watched it, then we ended up getting together – and here we are.”

The #essencelipsaviours collection includes an incredible 52 lip products: 18 lipsticks, 14 lip glosses, 13 lipliners and 7 liquid lipsticks, making hundreds of combinations.

And to make it even better, everything in the collection costs less than €4. The collection is available from Penneys and pharmacies nationwide.
