There have been some cheesey moments on the Love Island this year, but this exchange between Montana and a very tongue-tied Alex takes the biscuit. The pair were whisked away from the villa on last night's episode for a romantic picnic for two, and you just knew that Alex had something on his mind. The poor lad tripped over his words as he attempted to ask Montana to go out with him.

"I don’t know how to put it into words because I’ve not had to say it before but, it’s a new experience to have someone in my life that I can just have a really good time with. "I definitely think we should just see how far we can go and maybe take it to another step. How about we start it right now? Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
