Fans were LIVING.
We can pretty much always expect a dash of drama during Love Island’s recouplings, and last night’s was no exception.
It was the girls’ turn to make their move, and given the aftermath of Casa Amor, it really could have gone any way.
After Liberty, naturally, selected Jake as the boy she’d like to couple up with, it was Kaz’s turn.
Now, prior to Casa Amor, things appeared to be blossoming between this fan favourite and relatively new boy Tyler. However, after the postcard showed Tyler getting close with another girl, she made the executive decision to crack on with Matthew.
On Tyler’s return with Clarisse, the two attempted to talk things through numerous times, but they failed to see eye to eye. On top of that, it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing for Kaz and Matthew.
The cherry on top of this messy situation happened during last night’s recoupling.
In making her selection, Kaz said: “He makes me feel special. He makes me feel important. He’s trustworthy which is really important to me because I value trust over everything.
“And I’m excited to see where our journey continues to go because I enjoy spending all the time that I have spent with him so far. I’m happy, and that’s what counts.”
After picking Matthew, she directed a knowing wink in Tyler’s direction, and it went down extremely well with viewers.
