This would be brutal.
Love Island has had its fair share of drama over the last few days – and things look set to get even worse tonight for the Islanders.
Well, that’s if the fans are correct.
Last night, Iain Stirling confirmed that some Islanders will be dumped from the villa tonight [Thursday, June 27] as the lines opened for fans to vote for their favourite couple.
Those who have the lowest amount of votes are at risk of being dumped from the villa.
However, given the fact that the show also confirmed Casa Amor’s imminent return (and the fact that Caroline Flack is back in Mallorca), fans reckon there’s going to be a massive twist in tonight’s show.
Namely, that the Islanders are going to have to pick who actually gets dumped from the villa.
Guarantee this is the vote where the boys pick the girl to send home and the girls pick the boy, won’t be a couple leaving #LoveIsland

The boys will pick a girl to go home and the girls will pick a boy. Usually a strong couple is split up this way. Last year Zara went home and the year before it was Jess #LoveIsland

The twist has stirred up plenty of drama in the past, too.
Last year, on Day 25, Caroline Flack arrived in the villa to announce that Adam and Zara, Alex G and Ellie B, and Eyal and Megan had all received the lowest number of votes.
The remaining boys and girls had to pick one boy and one girl to vote out of the villa. The guys chose to dump Zara, while the girls chose Eyal.
The following day, the bots all headed off to Casa Amor – so if there’s any time to bring the twist back, it’s now.
