Love is Blind has been renewed for two more seasons.
Usually when renewal of a Netflix show is announced, it’s for one season but the popularity of Love is Blind is such that it’s now been renewed for a further two seasons.
Whether you binge-watched it in a few days or think the whole concept is rubbish, you can’t argue with the fact that it’s a huge success in terms of viewing figures.
If you’re a fan of the reality show, you’ll know what’s involved. Couples go on dates where they’re sitting in “pods” and can only hear the person they’re talking to, they never get to see each other.

They decide who they’re most compatible with, get engaged, then meet fact to face and before you know it, they’re married.
Yes, the concept does take a bit off getting used to.
Brandon Riegg, the vice president of nonfiction and comedy specials at Netflix, says:
“It’s been incredible to see Netflix members everywhere respond to the raw, authentic stories of real people and real stakes”. “We pride ourselves on creating a favorite show for any taste, and we’re thrilled fans embraced all of these series with such enthusiasm and shared passion. We look forward to sparking more joy for our members.”
Season one was hosted by Vanessa and Nick Lachey but it’s not yet if they will return for season two.
Oh and in other Netflix news, Marie Kondo is getting a new show entitled Sparking Joy following on from Tidying Up, the programme which inspired wardrobe clearouts the world over last year.
