Louis Walsh to Save X Factor?!

Louis Walsh hasn’t exactly been shy about giving his opinion on this year’s X Factor which is probably why rumours are swirling that he could be making a return. According to reports today Simon Cowell is considering bringing his old friend back for a special appearance in a bid to boost ratings. This is the first year that Louis isn't on the panel. A source told The Sun newspaper: “Simon has called Louis to chat through what hasn’t worked with the show so far this year. “They remain close friends and Simon respects Louis’ opinion – he was a key factor behind the success of The X Factor.” Strictly Come Dancing returned on Saturday night (image: BBC). The latest series of the singing competition has been criticised on a number of fronts and the return of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday did it no favours. One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is also in the frame to appear on the show, again in the hope of bringing in more viewers.
