The sequel is due to be released in June 2016 – almost a full 20 years since the original was released in July of 1996.
Original director Roland Emmerich is returning for the sequel and confirmed the new castings on social media this week.
Bill Pulman is also expected to come back for a role in the sequel.Entertainment
