Leigh-Anne Pinnock has given some hope to ‘Little Mix’ fans that a future reunion may be on the cards
The former girl band, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2011, went their separate ways last year after their ‘Confetti Tour’, leaving ‘Mixers’ devastated.
‘Little Mix’ was made up of Jade Thirlwall, 30, Perrie Edwards, 30, and Leigh-Anne, 32, up until they disbanded in 2022.
They originally started out as a 4-person group with Jesy Nelson, 32, before she made the decision to step away from ‘Little Mix’ to begin a solo career in 2020.
However, Leigh-Anne has now hinted at the possibility of a reform of the trio while appearing on the Happy Place podcast.
“I like to think we’ll definitely do a reunion – how can we not? I definitely think maybe like five years’ time we’ll get back together, make a load of money.”
Since the group parted ways, they have chosen to remain in the music industry and follow in Jesy’s footsteps by pursuing their own solo careers.
The girls are also being kept busy with other ventures.
Leigh-Anne welcomed twins in August 2021 with her husband, Andre Gray.
Meanwhile, Perrie has also become a mum, welcoming her son Axel with famous footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in August 2021.
Not only that, Leigh-Anne and Perrie are also mums who are busy looking after their children too.
In 2022, Jade got the wheels in motion for her solo career by signing a recording contract with RCA Records.
Back in December 2021, ‘Little Mix’ announced they were taking a break on Instagram.
“We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix. It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.
“We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much. We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future.
“We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more. We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever. See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x.”
