Legally Blonde 3 is officially in the works and Reese Witherspoon is on board

This is great news!

Legally Blonde has to be up there on our list of favourite movies ever. Yep, high praise we know, but we just cannot deny the happiness we feel every time we’re reunited with our girl, Elle Woods, not to mention how much she's taught us over the years. Well, a third movie is very nearly a reality as reports suggest MGM have almost signed a deal with Reese Witherspoon to reprise her role. And it’s not just Reese that will be returning for the third instalment of the film – Deadline reports say that the entire creative team will also be reuniting for the film. It’s been 17 years since the first movie was released, and just two years later, a sequel followed. Since then, there’s been a highly successful Broadway musical and another follow-up movie we’d rather not talk about, but our appetite for all things Legally Blonde has not wavered. News of a third movie with Reese Witherspoon has everyone on Twitter talking, however, not everyone is as happy as us with the news.
