Lauren Conrad announces the birth of her first child in the sweetest way

It’s congratulations to Lauren Conrad who has just announced the birth of her first child.

The former star of The Hills took to Instagram to share the news with a super sweet picture, captioned: “He’s here! We’re so excited to welcome Liam James Tell into the world!”

Sharing a picture of an adorable cross-stitch wall hanging, the artwork shows Lauren and husband William Tell alongside their newborn baby boy and two dogs. “And then there was five,” reads the creation. Liam James was born yesterday afternoon and the couple has said that they and their newborn are all doing well. Liam is the first child for Lauren and William who were married back in September 2014. Lauren previously revealed she had hoped for a baby boy, saying: “I really wanted a boy. My husband kept saying, ‘We just want a healthy baby.’ And I’d say, ‘But a boy would be nice’,” she told Fit Pregnancy and Baby. According to the 31-year-old, her mom was the reason for the choice. “My mom always told me that nobody loves you like a son does, especially when he’s young.”
