Kylie Minogue has broken her silence on her split from fiancé Joshua Sasse

Last night news broke that Kylie Minogue and her fiancé Joshua Sasse had split up.

The pair met while filming Joshua's TV show Galavant, in which Kylie made a guest appearance. Kylie only announced in November that she would take his surname once they were married. This morning Kylie has broken her silence on the matter and confirmed their split. The singer opened up in an Instagram post saying:

"#lovers ... Thank you for all your love and support throughout this recent chapter of my life. Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways. We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons. #thesunalwaysrises"
