Oscar winner revealed to play Caesar Flickerman in new Hunger Games film

The Hunger Games has revealed who will play Caesar Flickerman in Sunrise On The Reaping

Over the past few days, the franchise has slowly revealed who will play the characters of the upcoming film, including Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket and Joseph Zada as Haymitch Abernathy.

Succession’s Kieran Culkin will play Caesar Flickerman, the host of The Hunger Games. 

The actor recently won the Oscar for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ for A Real Pain.

Sunrise on the Reaping takes place on the 50th Hunger Games, centring around District 12's Haymitch Abernathy.

In honour of the Quarter Quell, twice the number of tributes will be reaped.

Fans have taken to social media expressing their excitement over the cast announcements

On the Instagram announcement post, one fan wrote:
