Katherine Langford shares emotional post about her future on 13 Reasons Why

The second season of the show returned this month.

* Warning: Spoilers from season two ahead. * Katherine Langford who plays the main character in the show, Hannah Baker, has taken to Instagram to say an emotional goodbye to her character after two seasons. Yes, the actress is bidding farewell to the show and posted a tribute to her character on Instagram a little earlier, saying:

“’Hannah… I love you… and I let you go.’ Those are the words I was able to say six months ago and now can finally share with you. “As most of you know, 13 Reasons Why was my first ever job and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell Hannah’s story so fully in season one, and to be asked back for season two.”

The Aussie actress went on to thank all the fans of the show for showing her support over the last year or so and promised that more big projects are on the way.

“Thank you for filling my life with love and light. "This show will always be a special part of my life, and regardless of whether Hannah is there or not, I know that I will continue to strive to do work that is meaningful and has a positive impact – whether that be in film, music, or any other form of art. “There is a lot coming up this next year, and I can’t wait to share it with you.”
