Could we all be sitting on a piece of Kanye West furniture in the future?
That might just happen. Kanye West and Ikea are flirting with the idea of a collaboration. It all started after Kanye said on radio that he wanted to team up with the brand to create some furniture.
According to Metro, while speaking to DJ Annie Mac he said, “Yo IKEA, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes – I want more products from Ye.”
Next thing Ikea responded through Facebook saying, “Hej Kanye, we’d love to see what you’d create…we could make you Famous!”
This idea hasn’t just come out of nowhere, though. Back in March, Kanye was invited to take a tour of the Ikea headquarters and at the time he tweeted about how inspiring it was.
