With Anne Hathaway, who played Mia, being completely open to returning, Julie Andrews is not quite as sure as she has some doubts about the new film even going ahead.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, the 87 year old opened up about the possibility of a third Princess Diaries movie, and she didn't hold back.
“I think we know that it’s probably not going to be possible,” the actress, who is best known for her role as Clarisse Renaldi in the Disney films, said.
“It was talked about very shortly after [Princess Diaries 2] came out but it’s now how many years since then? And I’m that much older and Annie, the princess, or queen, is so much older and I’m not sure whether it would float or run.
“But in terms of us doing it, I very much doubt that now.”
As upset as we are to report this news that if there is going to be a third film Julie won't be in it, we're still holding out for it to happen.
