The John Lewis Christmas ad is FINALLY here and it will give you chills

There are few things that mark the beginning of the festive season like the John Lewis Christmas ad. Yes, it’s become one of the most eagerly anticipated parts of the holiday season, with people desperately searching for it as soon as it airs. Well, this year’s ad has finally dropped and it is a treat. We received confirmation earlier this year that Elton John would both star in and perform the song for the famous advert this Christmas, with insiders revealing it would tell the story of the star's life. This year’s ad is titled, ‘The Boy and the Piano’ and is set to the soundtrack of Elton’s first big hit, Your Song. The nearly two-and-a-half minute ad tells the story of Elton’s first piano and how it was ‘more than just a gift’ and helped him become the musical icon he is today. The TV ad was shared by staff before it officially airs on TV tonight at 9.15pm on ITV.
