Joanna Lumley wants an Absolutely Fabulous revival, and we’re so down

There's nothing we love more than watching old episodes of Absolutely Fabulous. Which is why we're so excited to learn that the iconic Joanna Lumley wants to revive the hilarious show.

Absolutely Fabulous ended in 2012, and it went on to spawn a film in 2016, which was gas.

But Joanna, who is 72, is not finished.

"We keep thinking it is the end but there is some weird nagging thing, particularly for Patsy and Eddie, they don't seem to have gone back into their boxes so maybe something will come up," she said in a recent interview with the Telegraph.

On of Joanna's biggest reasons for wanting to revive her character? Having no regrets.

"You cram it all in and do what you can because you will regret it when you are 90 and drooling and unable to walk," she said.

As for her character, the prolific Patsy, Joanna has previously opened up about the kind of person Patsy is.

"Patsy doesn't care about anything and sometimes you think 'what a relief that would be'".

"But she couldn't bear it without Eddy... Eddy is her lifeline... I do adore that Patsy doesn't know the word for cash, she just says, 'hand money'."
