JK Rowling is releasing three new Harry Potter stories

Amazing Harry Potter news just keeps coming.

Last week it was announced that an exhibition of all things Hogwarts was coming to London to celebrate 20 years since the first book's launch. Then on Tuesday, it emerged that official Harry Potter fan site, Pottermore is looking for writers. So it's safe to say that die-hard fans of the saga are jumping for joy at the moment. So we can only imagine how happy fans will be to hear that there will be three new tales in the world of magic. JK Rowling has written not one, but three new stories in the form of eBooks. According to Digital Spy, the short stories are a combination of brand new material and Pottermore content, but don't worry, all of it has been written by JK Rowling. The first eBook is called Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists, which will be about the origins of Professor Umbridge. Azkaban Slughorn and Tom Riddle also feature in the first of the trio. Sticking with the alliteration, the second one is called Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies. Which will be about two of Harry's teachers: Minerva McGonangall, who was played by Maggie Smith in the films and Remus Lupin. As well as profiling two of Hogwarts' most courageous characters, The story will also give us "a peek behind the closed curtains of Sybill Trelawney’s life, and you’ll encounter the reckless, magical-beast-loving Silvanus Kettleburn along the way" according to Amazon. The third and final eBook in the series will be called Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide, which will give readers an in-depth insight into the inner-workings of Hogwarts. "You’ll venture into the Hogwarts grounds, become better acquainted with its more permanent residents, learn more about lessons and discover secrets of the castle." We're not sure which one we're most excited about but we can't wait to get our hands on a digital copy of each. The trio is already available to pre-order on Amazon and each book only costs around €3. They will be available to buy in UK from September.
