The 75th Golden Globes will next year take place on January 7 – kicking off the red-carpet awards season in serious style.
And following the departure of last year’s presenter, Jimmy Fallon, the organisers have once again opted for a comedian.
Yes, 2018’s host is now confirmed as Seth Meyers.
As well as Mr Fallon, the Saturday Night Live alumnus will follow in the footsteps of the likes of Ricky Gervais, and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler – who have all previously taken to the Globes helm.
“The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is excited to have Seth Meyers host the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards,” a statement read.
“With his natural comedic wit and innate ability to charm audiences, Seth will help us carry on the celebratory tradition of recognising the best in television and film at the party of the year.”
