Jennifer Aniston comments on Brad and Angelina’s divorce

Fair enough.

As soon as the news broke that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie filed for divorce a lot of Jennifer Aniston memes began to circulate. Most of which had the same theme, that she would be very smug.

Brad and Jennifer began dating in 1998 before getting married in 2000. Then in 2005 they split up after he fell for Angelina Jolie when they starred together in the movie Mrs and Mrs Smith. So when Brad and Angelina filed for divorce earlier this week, people assumed Jennifer would be smug and now that's almost been confirmed by an "insider" who spoke to the star. They told Us Weekly that when she heard the news she said, "Yeah, that’s karma for you!" The insider also elaborated on how she felt, saying, "She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually. She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy." Another source said while Jennifer, "admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split,” she also “never wanted this for them or wished this on them.” They added, "Jen does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she’s happy, and she wants him to be happy too. Jen does not hold on to any negativity from her marriage to Brad.” Jennifer married Justin Theroux in August 2015, ten years since her split from Brad.
