It’s already one of our favourite shows and The Good Wife is about to get a whole lot better.
It’s been confirmed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join the cast of the hit show as a series regular and will play Alex “a calm, experienced hourly investigator” hired by Alicia (Julianna Margulies).
The addition comes following the departure of Archie Panjabi, who played Kalinda Sharma, and Matthew Goode as Finn Polmar.
“We’ve loved and admired Jeffrey Dean Morgan for years, and we were thrilled to hear that Julianna did too, so it was a no-brainer to ask him to join our troupe,” said The Good Wife creators/executive producers Robert and Michelle King.
Morgan is best known for his role as Denny Duquette, Katherine Heigl’s patient and love interest in Grey’s Anatomy, and is currently appearing in Extant.
