Jacques O’Neill has turned down Celebs Go Dating to wait for Paige

Former Love Island star Jacques O'Neill has reportedly turned down the opportunity to appear on Celebs Go Dating after his departure from the Love Island villa. After announcing to his fellow islanders that he wasn't "being himself", the 23 year old made the shocking decision to leave the show, leaving his partner Paige to crack on and he would wait for her on the outside. Despite Paige getting to know Adam Collard on the show, Jacques is still planning on waiting for her to finish her time on the show so they can reunite. According to The Sun, Jacques turned down £60,000 to appear on the E4 series, saying that he was still going to wait for Paige on the outside. A source told the publication: “An Islander always makes for a great signing and Jacques is a real stand-out, particularly because he’s already shown that he’s willing to put the work in and really change. “That’ll make him a really credible candidate for the agency’s help, never mind be someone that fans would tune in for. “But Jacques wants to wait for Paige, so it may well be too late by the time she emerges." As he was leaving the show, Jacques told Paige he would wait for her and collect her from the airport, but she has since gotten to know Adam instead. Speaking about his exit from the series, Jacques said it was "the worst decision of his life" and that he was ready to "break down." Appearing on Sunday's episode of Aftersun, Jacques finally spoke about how he felt about Adam and Paige's relationship, saying: "Before I left I said crack on like I did in Casa Amor. She needs to explore like I did. So I said, ‘You do what you need to do’ and she’s doing that."
