Emmerdale actor Wil Johnson, who plays Dom Andrews on the soap has announced that he is to leave the show.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, the actor said: “I’ve had a wonderful time playing Dom Andrews but, like with most things, you have to know when it’s time to leave the building, hopefully on a high note.”
It’s believed that his departure from the soap will be part of a storyline involving his daughter Gemma.
“I’m fortunate to be leaving the show off the back of a gripping storyline which I hope the audience will appreciate and have empathy for” he said.
The actor has been in Emmerdale since December 2012.
