Eastenders fans will know that Nick Cotton recently returned to the Square and while he has been keeping quiet, it looks like things are about to change very soon.
John Altman, who plays Nick, spoke about an upcoming storyline recently, saying that his character is about to turn nasty.
Speaking to Bang Showbiz, John compared the plot to when Nick tried to poison his mother Dot: “He’s going to be just as nasty. It’s pretty evil, pretty awful. A bit of a shocker but I can’t say what it is.
“They offered me a pretty big storyline. I didn’t think it would make any difference going back one more time in terms of being typecast.”
Nick returned to the show in October
Nick’s return to the show came as a huge surprise to his mother Dot who believed that her son was dead and Dot is currently trying to keep her son’s reappearance a secret from the rest of the Square’s residents.
Recently, Dominic Treadwell Collins said that Eastenders would soon tell “the Nick story to end all stories”.
