It’s Happening! ’23 Jump Street’ Announced

We thought we were excited when we heard there was going to be a 22 Jump Street but we almost fell over today when it was announced that 23 Jump Street is likely to be going into production. Sony Pictures and Original Film are believed to have already started work on the latest in the franchise which stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. 22 Jump Street hit our cinema screens earlier this year, grossing $320 million worldwide. The movie followed on from the original, 21 Jump Street, and continued to follow the wacky and hilarious lives of police officers Jenko (Tatum) and Schmidt (Hill). The sequel saw the officers going undercover in a college as they tried to crack a crime ring with brilliant consequences. 23 Jump Street is rumoured to be about the lads heading off to medical school. It is believed that Rodney Rothman, one of the 22 Jump Street writers, has been hired to write a screenplay for 23 Jump Street. However, it is rumoured that directors Phil Lord and Chris Milller have not been confirmed to come back on board due to other commitments.
