When you’ve got the ick, girl, you’ve got the ICK.

On today’s Love Island podcast, Denise and Cassie discuss what it’s like when you get the dreaded ick and how they think Leanne handled the situation like a pro.

Listen to all their points on last night’s show below!

Love Island’s Leanne has said she was “100 per cent expecting” Mike to pick Sophie in tonight’s dramatic recoupling.

Tonight’s episode of Love Island saw the third recoupling of the series take place.

Finn chose Paige in the recoupling, while Luke T picked Siannise. Callum and Shaughna have coupled up again, and Luke M picked Jess. Wallace and Rebecca coupled up, while Nas picked Demi to couple up with.

And Mike, who had previously been coupled up with Leanne, chose to couple up with Sophie – sending his former partner out of the villa.

During her exit interview, Leanne reflected on her “rollercoaster” time in the villa – and revealed that she was “100 per cent” expecting to be the one going home.

“Me and Mike, we didn’t work. I feel he’s justified in what he did by picking Sophie. That’s a big thing to do – it’s a bold move to make,” she said, as she discussed how she felt about Mike not picking her.

“But I feel like he’s disregarded the two weeks we spent together and I feel like sending me home was a bit of a kick in the teeth, but it might also be my karma for dumping him…”

She explained that they had a “good connection as friends”, so she thought he may have “had that loyalty with me more.”

“But he can crack on and I’m happy for him, I want him to be happy,” she added.

She also admitted that she thought her former beau may be playing a game in the villa, noting how “it’ll be easier for him to crack on and do his thing without me there.”

And as for if she thinks Mike has a chance romantically with Sophie, it seems like the answer is a firm no.

“Oh, be serious… There’s absolutely no way! I think they’re just good friends and they’re in a friendship couple,” she said.

Leanne added that she could “100 per cent see why” Sophie didn’t leave the villa with her former partner Connor, who was dumped from the villa earlier in the week.

“They did both have strong feelings for each other. But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” she said. “I don’t see why she should have left with him. She will see him soon enough.”
