We knew all about Ryan Lawrie and Emily Middlemas getting together on this year’s X Factor and it looks like two of the other contestants are getting close as well.
According to reports, Samantha Lavery has broken up with her boyfriend Acea Brabrook, a 24-year-old barman.
If rumours are to be believed, and of course we take them with a pinch of salt, Samantha and Nathan Lewis, a member of boyband 5am, have been linked romantically.
Speaking to The Sun, Acea explained that Samantha ended their relationship recently.
“She has a new love in her life — and that new love is X Factor.
“And it appears she may have a second new love, a fellow pop star”.
Although the couple had planned to stay together throughout Samantha’s stint on the show, this changed when she proceeded to the live shows.
The distance between the couple proved too much and Aced said success on the show is now “everything” to the 17-year-old.

A source spoke to the publication about Samantha and Nathan’s rumoured closeness:
“Sam and Nathan have grown very close and always sneak off when they have a chance to.
“They have been told off for it in the past few weeks, because at times it has been difficult to find them.
“When they came out of the cupboard they were dishevelled and had very guilty looks on their faces”.
